We are used to performing Shiatsu on a tatami or stretcher, that is, with the patient lying down. Perhaps this is the most appropriate position for our therapy, but what happens if the person cannot remain lying down? Some people suffer from pathologies that prevent them from lying down properly. We cannot forget either disabled people who use a wheelchair to get around and who also have difficulties staying in a supine position. The answer to this is to receive Shiatsu sitting in a chair. It doesn't matter if it's a stool, a chair or even on a stretcher, anyone can receive Shiatsu without having to lie down. With this volume we teach the correct way to apply Shiatsu in a chair, indicating the correct posture of both the therapist and the patient. Emphasizing the eight neck movements, pressures on the arm, back and neck, stretches, cervical treatment and Anma techniques. A complete guide in which it is detailed through images for easy understanding; from pressure points to the pathologies to be treated.
