AURICULOTHERAPY, MTC THERAPY
Over the past few decades, Chinese doctors have inherited and developed their traditional medicine and researched the scientific advances of Western medicine in order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of auriculopuncture or auriculotherapy. Today this method is flourishing thanks to practice and synthesis.
In Oriental medical practice, auriculopuncture is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of physical and organic dysfunctions, as well as diseases, through the stimulation of ENERGY POINTS which are located in the pinnar to obtain a therapeutic outcome.
AURICULAR REFLEX POINTS:
The ear and its reflex zones:
There are areas in some parts of the body where the body as a whole is reflected.
These are: the eyes, skull, hands, feet, face, tongue and ear. These places are called reflex zones and in them, indeed, the complete picture of the organism is reflected.
From a Western point of view, we can say that the reflex zones are true holograms, i.e. projected images in its totality if we start from the concept that in a part there is the whole and the whole is in a part.
ADVANTAGES OF USING AURICULOTHERAPY
Auriculopuncture has its own theoretical basis, working method and application protocols. In addition, it can be used as a complement to other techniques and/or methods such as acupuncture, Shiatsu, massage, osteopathy, psychology, etc. It is easy to use and you can obtain fast and effective results.
In the case of the combination of auriculotherapy and shiatsu, auriculotherapy is a technique that works on a microsystem which is the ear. It reflects the functioning of the whole organism. Shiatsu therapy works on the macrosystem, which is our whole body. Therefore, both therapies complement each other by stimulating both the micro and the macro system, creating a synergy and increasing the effectiveness of the treatment.
This TCM therapy has few contraindications and above all it can be used as a evaluation tool. It can be used as recovery method and more importantly as prevention.
CONTRAINDICATIONS OF AURICULOTHERAPY
Auriculotherapy has few contraindications, but is not recommended as a precaution in the following cases:
