LEARN THE BASICS TO IMPROVE HEALTH
Fully practical course focused on learning the lines and pressure points throughout the body,
as well as correct body postures and hand position to apply Shiatsu pressure in the prone and supine position.
Introduction to Shiatsu: General theory of Shiatsu, history of Shiatsu in Japan, introduction and practice of the therapist’s posture and pressure types.
Basic Shiatsu Treatment: – Full prone position. – Back adjustments. Postural hygiene. – Full supine position. We will emphasize the abdomen region to release the diaphragm and improve breathing. – Stretches, eight movements of the spine and Autoshiatsu to prevent the most common effects caused by sedentary lifestyle. – Reflex points to relieve emotional state. (Stress and anxiety)
